About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Surachna Home Inspection & Quality Assurance ("Surachna", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data that you share through www.surachna.in, by phone or on WhatsApp.

By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit your details through the website.

Information we collect

When you fill in an enquiry, booking or sample report form, we collect the details you choose to give us:

  • Your full name and mobile number
  • Your email address, if you provide it
  • Whether you are a homeowner, a housing society or a builder or contractor
  • The service you are interested in

  • Property details such as type, size and your preferred inspection date
  • Anything you write in the message field

Like every website, our hosting server also records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request. We use it only to keep the website secure and to prevent spam, for example by limiting repeated form submissions.

We do not ask for bank or card details, government identity numbers or passwords through this website. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Pages that show an embedded Google Map load content from Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

  • To understand your requirement, plan the inspection and schedule a visit
  • To prepare quotations, inspection reports and related communication
  • To keep records of enquiries and services we have provided
  • To keep the website secure and prevent misuse
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only:

  • With our engineers and team members who need it to respond to you and carry out the inspection
  • With service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, email and messaging services, and who process the data on our behalf
  • When we are required to do so by law, a court order or a government authority
  • When it is necessary to protect our legal rights or the safety of any person

If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, enquiry records are kept in a location on our hosting account that is not publicly accessible, and access is limited to people who need it.

No method of storing or sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to your enquiry, delivering any service you book, and meeting legal, tax and accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
